Dosage varies by species, weight of animal, and infection/disease being treated.
If animal develops gastrointestinal symptoms, divide dose and administer with meals. Long-term therapy with adequate dosing compliance is usually necessary for successful results.
Storage Conditions: Store at room temperature in well-closed containers.
200 mg Ketoconazole, scored tablet.
Caution:
Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Use caution in pregnant animals as it can cause birth defects or fetal death.
Warning:
May cause infertility in male dogs by decreasing testosterone synthesis. Testosterone production rebounds once the drug is discontinued.
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
